I'm a little behind and pressed for time, so this post will cover weeks 9-12. I consulted Jamin Shoulet about feather texturing on Week 10, and will resume that shortly. I took a break from working on my other two active models and started another one for week 9-11: The Styracosaur.
Newest Iteration will hit with the feet fixed, textures improved, and the eye included.
By far the greatest challenge has been to concept out a character in Zbrush. I've gone through perhaps hundreds of failed designs. I'll post a few here. Please note the head is a placeholder and is not my own work.

I ended up redoing the basemesh underneath and making an entirely new model using zspheres and reference from Pinterest. It's now a more interesting form (Last image set) with slightly locked knees and exaggerated forms. Though it's hard to tell from the thumbnails.
After trying the Dynamesh method, I was instructed to try photo-bashing. It's not a technique I'm familiar with but I gave it a shot.

From this to guide me through the rest of the process, I shouldn't be fumbling for too much longer. I'm excited to knock this character out and begin work on my next (potentially two) character: Captain Garret of the USM Toby. Next week, I'll have the Enforcer completely modeled.
